Haven't tried the protein bars yet, just their chewy sweet and salty peanut bars, which I think are good.

They don't stick with you as long as a Cliff bar in my opinion. Better tasting than other bars I have tried. I need to check the calorie content versus a similar bar.

I've been studying the Philmont menus - which seem to include at least a half dozen bars per day as part of some meal - and I never knew there were so many different ones.

These are my favorite.

Pure Protein

Eat one a day to get my needed protein. I have had the nature valley ones, but they have 10 grams and I need more than that, but I try to keep protein at 25 grams or less per protein shake or bar......but my plumbing is a little different than most of you.

Hey Jan - just realized that a buddy of mine had one and left the wrapper in my car. I'll ask what he thought.

Nevermind, it was a Clif protein bar. He said they're decent.
