I came across this recently, it is new in the bag/box. Has anyone used or have one to comment on? I set it up in the back yard. Price was right, but I am not sure I will use it much as it is not quite a pop up and doesn't have a sled base.

I have no experience with that model but I think that should work well. I wonder if people ever cut out the floor material?

My grandpa had a similar tent for spearing/two man traveling fishing he used on pokegama for years. He built a small sled out of wood that the tent was attached to and he would drag around the lake. The pop up shelter before pop ups were invented.

They came out about 15-20 years ago, and were originally made in Cloquet, Minnesota, if my memory serves me right.
I think you could attach two or more together with their zippers, and make one long fish house. The buyer would cut a small hole in the floor fabric for fishing, or a larger one if the house were used for spearing.(there were no holes in the floor from the factory)
