Reading in the recent post about spuds, and then the talk about sweet potatoes, it made me think of this.

The pumpkin pie bark sound like it would go well in GORP.

Interesting concept. I am thinking the pumpkin apple bark made into a warm pudding and then topped with rehydrated whole apple slices and a a melted carmel sauce made with powdered milk. Or a cold pudding topped with gorp mix for a great no cook side dish.

quote Jeemon: "What have you tried?"

Sorry Jeemon, I have not tried any of them. I just booked marked it awhile back when I ran across it.

I can see how it would work though as I currently do re fried beans and they look about the same going into the dehydrator trays.

I tried the pumpkin pie bark today. I like how it turned out. It has some sweetness to it, but it's not the overly sweet taste that some fruit rollups have. I think it'd be a nice little treat on a canoe trip.

Thanks for the link. I've done marinara and it is good. Now to try the others.
