My boyfriend and I are planning a 7 or 8 day trip to Quetico mid-August.

Can anyone suggest resources I should consult for planning? Is there a good map I can get? Are any of the books worthwhile?

We will be entering and staying in Canada. We thought this route looked good. Any thoughts? Do you have any other routes that you would suggest?

I'll be doing this same route but in reverse that you have a suggested. I really don't know that much about it as that area is a first for me.
For maps look at the Fisher or Mckenzie maps for that area.

If you do that route go over to Chatterton lake and Keats lake to see some of the waterfalls.
