quote boonie: "Thanks for the report. The storm picture makes it look a little strange...
Glad you enjoyed your trip."
It does! We felt so naïve as we were sitting under the canoe eating sticks of celery... Although it was exhilarating to be paddling as fast as we could while we could barely see where we were going! Won't be making the same mistake again. At least we had our life jackets on!

Yes! While we were on the lake, the worst thoughts crossed our mind. Thankfully, no such spiral patterns emerged either in the wind nor the water. It just blew really harshly to the east and passed by rather quickly within 20 minutes.

We had one go by quickly one day with our 7 students tripping with us. We saw it coming as we were about to get into our canoes, but had second thoughts. A minute later we scrambled for our tarp and huddled under it as we were hailed on. When the hail came across the lake it looked like an army of stalactites. It was quite a memorable moment ghat Mother Nature displayed! Sure glad we were not on the water with those guys.

WOW. Yes, we would've actually panicked if it was hail. The rain storm provided just enough heat/adventure/memories without actually tripping our sense of genuine fear. :)
