Have a Smoke portage north into NW corner of Shelley Lake shows a 340m portage into a no name, then a creek north into Alice. Is this creek navigable? Go west out of Alice into Gahn, then another creek into Chatterton. Is this creek navigable? If not, is Gahn a dead-end like Draper?

Several years ago we paddled up a very small stream flowing into Chatterton lake as far as we could get then we bushwhacked about 150 yards into Gahn lake. So yes it can be done, but there is no trail. Portage from Gahn into Alice was easy to find and navigate. Hope this helps.
