Stopped in two weeks ago. Unique little shop. Fishing tackle, curios, and antiques.

Time to restock my Beaver Flick supply.

My son was just there Saturday on his way to Seagull outfitters.
He was happy they were still open.

I will be there today. Always stop--friendly people, good gear. The flicks do work great.

Update--all offers on the purchase of the Beaver House have fallen through. Ty says that they will keep the doors open until it sells (there is less gear there than ever--like they are selling out to the bare walls) but he is taking e-mails and starting up an online tackle business. He had 18 pages of addresses. Looks like the flicks and spinner rigs he'll "be making until I die" will be around for all. So there's your update straight from Grand Marais as of yesterday.

Funny - In the Cook County Herald, the report from Beaver House always says that the fish are biting on Beaver Flicks. Wonder why???

Was in there a week ago last Friday, they had everything I was looking for except you couldn't buy a fishing license. Always have liked the place. Friendly folks.

They used to be but when I tried a couple weeks ago their website was down. I ended up having to call and order them from the store directly. Then I had to make a follow up call a few days ago and they had lost my order. He promised me he would get them out that day and they just showed up today so I am all set.

I am in gm this week and caught a couple lakers off the rocks I love. Oil county marc
