Glad you enjoyed it. Wish I had extended the trip and done another day on Cache and Kawnipi.

Enjoyed your report. Brought back memories of going to Cache in the mid-1990s. We missed the Baptism Creek mouth as well; had to turn around too. Nice job scoring all those blueberries!
Keep on paddling...

I have heard many people miss that little creek. I should have known because I have come down that creek 2 times. Thanks for reading the report.

Glad you enjoyed it. I would do the trip over except there is some place else I want to go.

Glad you enjoyed the read. The hammock has made sleeping in the back country much more comfortable for me. Watch this thread for a hangout near you and drop in and introduce yourself. Tell them you are interested and would like to look at their gear. They might even invite you to test try so you can see how they feel.

Nice report. I came down the Cache two summers ago. Wonderful area. The portages near the end of the river have actually changed a lot since when I first went down in 1981.

The place where I spent the night is what some people have told me is the portage. It has been used as a portage by more than just me but it was not used like other portages on the river so there must be another way that most people get through that area. Thanks for reading.

I enjoyed the read, thanks! Nothing like a good handful of fresh blueberries. My trip this year is the 1st week of August. They should be about perfect then.

Glad you enjoyed the report. When I was there last year there were no green blue barriers so that was near the end of the season. That was near the end of August. There should be some ripe when you are there this year. Have a good trip.
