Just thought I'd share a couple pics from a trip I just got back from. Albeit it's not the BW (it was Algonquin Park), the vibe is the same!

This is the hot tent my dad slept in.

Dad snores like crazy so I tried my luck under a tarp. It was my first time trying my new Feathered Friends sleeping bag and Thermarest Mondoking pad. So comfy!

We found a warming shelter and decided to cook up dinner one night in it to get out of the elements

We saw a bit of wildlife but not a ton. We saw 2 moose, 2 deeer, fox and a Pine Marten

What a great time of year to get out eh? Nothing quite like the solitude of a crisp, clear winter night...

I enjoyed those pictures. Nice work.

How long of an exposure on that star trails picture?

Thanks guys! The star trails pics were about 150 thirty second exposures blended in Starstax (great program for that!).

Must be SUPER FAST glass for the night shot without the star trails?

It's a 24-70mm f2.8 lens shot at f2.8. The high ISO helps a bit too :)
