Got my reservation this morning for a June 7 entry to Agnes Lake. Missed my trip last year because I was so close to retirement that I waited to take a vacation till October.

I missed my trip last year too. I have one planned for North Bay 1st week in august with brother and two young nephews who love to fish. All three are newbies. Good to be researching and buying gear again. Can't wait for Copia.

We will end up there. The fishing there is first rate, huge smallies await us, I hope. Hey TomT we have a few things in common ,I live near you and had an Old Town Canadienne till this past summer. I wasn't using it anymore so I let it go to someone who would paddle it. ~JOE~

I haven't used my Canadienne since 2009 as I went solo from 2011 - '13. I'll be in it this year with a young nephew this time. Looking forward to North bay and possibly Sunday Bay for 8 nights. My brother has back and knee issues so portaging will be at a minimum. Also, keep that fishing stuff on the DL. We all know that Basswood is all but fished out.
