Have gotten too start the season with a bang this year. Been able to road ride and MTB a bit in northern WI due to this early thaw. Spent a week mountain biking in Moab, UT beginning of March. Hope it stays snow free!

I've been tinkering on them in my garage and riding around a bit here and there. Is that a Salsa?

I'm also trying to sell one. A week in Moab would be amazing.
Here's my main horse.

Ybeen riding the 29'er to rehab the knee replacement. Did 30 on the road last Saturday and learned one thing! I'm out of shape!! But I'll get back to it. 65 mile ride with hills in less than a month... Might just do the 35 and enjoy the ride, instead of the 65, and curse myself the whole way.

Actually, a Specialized Epic 29er. Love the bike. A week in Moab was not enough to keep me away! Still left trails unridden, need a return trip.....

About 50 miles so far. A little bit of ice still on the trail in places. I got a new road bike last year and logged 1800 miles on it last season. Shooting for at least 2000 this year.

i continue to commute to work every day, about 2.5 miles. the recent heavy snow has made it tough. I have a studded tire bike, a snow tire bike, and a fatty, so I have options. we got dumped on this past weekend with 10 inches, so the county is afraid to plow the shoulders, pathetic really, imho, I will not ride on very busy county roads in the dark am. too many cell phone drivers out there.

I have a friend that lived in Mpls and went for about 3 years without a car- biked and walked everywhere. Loved his quote regarding texters- "I prefer drunks- at least they're trying to concentrate on their driving!"

Thanks, sounds like a fair amount of 29er riders in the group.

I got my first one in 06 when Fisher was about the only brand making them.

I've been getting out quite a bit since mid April. Had the pleasure today, on a 25 mile loop of paved bike path and country backroads, to hit a stretch of about 3 miles of fresh asphalt on a closed (local traffic only) country road. Nice ride, a little twisty and hilly, but smooth and care free.
