They say what doesn't kill ya, only makes you stronger. :)

Well, if it's any consolation? The trip I did when my wife was 8 months pregnant involved a swamping incident in may no less! Prisoners on Pine

Thanks for taking the time to share your story.

Great story. Brings back memories. Hang in there, by the time the little ones are 5 they turn into amazing trippers. In the meanwhile you might want to master the day trip!

Wow is right. A 1 year old and pregnant wife on Saganaga no less, of all the lakes you could have picked. You have my complete and total respect. But it does sound like the fishing and wildlife was good. That's better than anything I have ever had on Sag after three trips in the area.

Are you sure you caught largemouth bass? I did not know Saganaga had them. Largemouth bass have the tell-tale, well, large mouth and dark line on their side. Smallmouth bass do not.

Yes, that's pretty much what you can expect with the wind on Sag. A little tip (but not one really conducive to a one year old, ha!) get up REALLY early and hit the water at first light, you'll be much happier.

Sounds like an awesome trip! Got any pictures to go along with it?

Sounds like a good trip! I sent this to my buddy who has a 2 and 4 year old that is hesitant to bring even on a small lake. Sent it to my wife for "future consideration" for those offspring we're planning.

Wow, sounds like you had a good, bad, great time up there.

Glad to hear all of you survived and will probably be back!
