Mike - I enjoyed reading your report. Appears you got the full Quetico experience on this trip. Am jealous you got to be on the water for two weeks :-)

that was great trip! thanks for your view of the landscape and campsites on mack, very helpful.

a friend sent me a photo of that canoe on kennebas so i thought i'd share it. wonder how long it's been there.

Yep Adam, we saw it there in Sept 2013, but during my June 2014 solo trip it was gone. I found part of a canoe (a rental from Seagull Outfitters) wedged up against an island a couple miles downstream from Kennebas and assumed that it was the one that had been stuck at Kennebas Falls. Could another one have gotten stuck at Kennebas?

Thanks for the pictures, Mocha. I should have taken some but was too stunned by what I saw to think about the camera.
