I'm trying to get ahead of the spring rush here, maybe get the better pick of the litter. I'm looking for a 17' aluminum square stern in good condition, either an Alumacraft, Grumman or Osagian. I'd also be interested in a Grumman 19' Freighter. I'm leaning towards the Freighter but I think I can make a 17 footer work for me.

I'm shelling money away to purchase it in the spring and wanted to get some ideas, prices and options from folks. I live in the Metro and prefer not to have to drive more than 2 hours for pick-up come spring.

I also play guitar and I have nice guitars and other gear that I'd be willing to trade to make a deal happen. I've got some items for sale but the market is stalled out right now.
