These are the high end line of Zeiss Binoculars. I'd guess they're 5-6 years old but can't remember for sure. I bought them new and they're registered with Zeiss in my name. The glass is in great shape as well as the body.

Full disclosure: They've been dropped twice but were in the protective case both times. The only damage was a slightly dented ring that surrounds one of the front objectives. Although I never experienced any problems I sent them to Zeiss after the second drop with a letter explaining what happened and asking them to check them out and perform any repairs needed. They came back with a clean bill of health. That was 3-4 years ago.

I've been agonizing whether or not to sell these binoculars. Birding as a hobby has taken a back seat and I just never go to the trouble of carrying them anymore. Hard to justify keeping them around when not being used but I also know I'll probably never have another pair of binoculars this nice.

I'm more comfortable listing them for sale here than one of the big birding websites since I'm more familiar with the folks here and many are local in the upper mid-west, giving a chance to meet up and inspect before finalizing the deal. These originally sold for about $2200 but I see Zeiss has come out with a new line and, while these Victories are still available , the price seems to have dropped a little to make room for new stock.

Looking to get $1100. If anyone here is serious I'll drag out the camera and take some pictures. If not I'll take it as a sign that I'm meant to keep them. ;)

I'd also be interested in trading for a pair of Leica 8x20 Ultravids+cash.
