Hello,

Does anyone know if you can buy a print of the map "SNF & Quetico Canoe Routes Map -- 1929" that is listed under Historical Maps on the Maps tab? I absolutely love that map but I haven't been able to find it, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I would try W.A. Fisher maps in Virginia, Mn. If they don't have it they might be a good resource as to where to find it.

I think this is what you are looking for. Map

I bought one a few years ago and it says north Bay trading company copyright 1989. I googled just "north bay trading company" and all they had was food. Adding "map" got the piragis catalog entry.

It's pretty cool.

Her's the more-or-less upper left quarter of the map from Piragis. Interesting to see name changes or spelling changes. In this you can see Cirrus Lake was know as Long Lake. Just noticed the canoe route from Crane Lake to Tower.

quote OldFingers57: "There are two different ones on ebay right now: Map 1 Map 2 "

I bought Map 1 on eBay and when I received it I was a little less than impressed with it. It's just a photocopy of some original map. No sooner had I bought it than another copy was posted for sale. But that aside it didn't have near as much "historical" information on it as I had hoped. Basically, what is shown in close-ups on the eBay listing is all there is.
