What a great read, and I especially loved the Mini's videography!

You are very lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful, paddling family. Really enjoyed your report,

Enjoyed your report. As far as food stashing is concerned I have never hung my food pack. Also, I no longer stash it far from camp either anymore. Now I use my CCS solo food pack for my solo trips and my barrel with harness pack for my group trips. I then strap the waist buckle around a four to six inch tree about thirty or forty yards from my tent(s) and d-ring a small cow bell to it. It's only gone off once and was likely due to a rodent-did creep me out though! I have a Ursack and have never used it and never will. It's just too small for my purposes. If you want it shoot me an e-mail.

Nice report. I vacuum seal most of my food now. Never had a mess since!

Nice report, wish you could compose mine for me. We had that happen with steaks once and decided steaks not that important after all. Like someone said, vacuum packed is the only way to go if you want to ensure bloodless food besides your steaks!

Thanks everyone!

There is a lot we will do different on our next trip, but it was a great learning experience. You never know until you try right?
