Looking to find a new home for a lightly-used Kondos 30L barrel harness and standard 30L barrel (carry handles, latch, etc).

Kids are getting bigger, moving to a 60L. Hopefully one of them will start carrying it soon. heh.

Anyway, harness and barrel are lightly used, the harness only went on 2 short trips and the barrel, well it's a barrel.

I'm located in north central MN but travel a bit around the state for work and might be able to meet somewhere. I'm not real interested in shipping but if you want to pay the shipping costs, maybe we can figure something out.

Will consider partial trades for 240cm kayak paddle and/or youth paddling-style PFD (50-90 lbs).

Thanks,
TK

So it's one of these plus the barrel?

Yes.

I'd be willing to consider reasonable offers.

Does this still need to be hung in a tree, since it's not a bear-proof barrel?

This isn't a bearproof barrel.

When it comes to bears, the advantage of barrels is that they do a good job of containing the food odors. Lots of people "stash" them somewhere on the ground, away from the heavily-used areas of a campsite, figuring it will make them difficult for bears to find. Many people have used them this way for years without any bear issues.

They also provide protection against rodents, the elements, and general damage (e.g., crushing) which is nice.

Lots of discussion on this site re: barrels if you use the search tool.
