I have a 14' Bell Wildfire solo canoe. Green royalex, black gunwales, cane seat, in excellent condition. Some scratches on the bottom. Always kept in the garage hanging. I would say it is a 9.5 out of 10. The Wildfire is now the Yellowstone. It changed names when Bell Canoes was bought out. What price would be reasonable to ask for this canoe? Thanks!

I've had 2 Royalex Wildfires.
I bought one from a friend for $600. I would call it a 7 out of 10.
My second, I bought on CL for $650. It was also about a 7.
I looked at one for sale in Mpls. He was asking $750 for a Royalex in about a 7 cond. I think it took a while for that one to sell.

A buddy of mine requested first chance to purchase the canoe. If he is not interested, I will be glad to give you second chance. Thanks!

I saw a yellowstone royalex on eBay in ft Collins in Februaryish, went one week at $800 min bid with no bids and no sale, was posted again a week later with $800 and had one bid take it for that. It had a 60L barrel with it, with a lot of d-rings glued in for attachment and looked to be in great shape.
A buddy of mine saw a royalex yellowstone on Kansas City craigslist in Mayish for $500, it was listed as new, never in the water, and had a carbon paddle with a few other extras. It was there when my buddy asked the seller for pictures, gone by the end of the day.
I think the wildfire had symmetrical rocker, the yellowstone was modified slightly and it's rocker was asymmetrical, with only 1 1/2 inch in the back to help it track better. Pretty similar, but for what I've read they were two different hulls, both we're listed in the 2004 catalog, wildfire in composite and yellowstone in royalex. I think Bell Canoe works was sold in 2006.

Correct. The two different materials did have slightly different designs. The royalex version in both model names remained the same.
