Story of my life ;). I always figure it's worth a try; I only get up there once a year.

My wife and I will be in the neighborhood that weekend. We will be staying at the Trail Center Friday and Saturday night. Saturday we plan on day tripping on some lakes or hiking trails, no plans set in stone yet. Sunday we will probably grab breakfast before heading out. Our plans are to hike at a few State Parks on the North Shore and probably getting back to Duluth around supper time. Maybe we could cross paths somewhere along the line.

Sounds like I might just miss you too. I'll be exiting the BW sometime on that afternoon of Sun, 9/11 and be in Grand Marais for dinner, but won't be there for breakfast. Will you be in Grand Marais or Duluth Sun, 9/11, for dinner . . . ?

It'll be close but I won't know until we get a little closer. Let's keep in touch.
