I would like to purchase a paddle in the style of the Voyageur of the late 1700 early 1800's. It would be used in my Voyageur persona at rendezvous. Any ideas of where I might locate one would be greatly appreciated.

I'd think your best bet is to have someone make you one

Something like this? These are western red cedar paddles in progress. In progress is a bit is an exaggeration since I stopped the building process a few years ago. I could complete them however if it is something you are interested in. Or alternatively an in progress paddle might be part of your persona? They have been kept inside and are in good shape. One is 58" long, the other 59"; one weighs 29oz, the other 40oz (it is not as far along in the build). The intent was to use them but a 20' sailboat build got on the way.
