I saw a Polaris that the owner mentioned he may sell his and he had people clambering to get in the first bid. It was one of the heavier models. I am still looking and I like the Polaris more than the Northwind but either would work for me.

During the summer I saw a Northwind 16 on craigslist in Cambridge, MN but that is all I have seen for either model. I kicked tires so to speak at a dealer last spring and I was drooling over the Polaris.

Just an FYI... Rockwood Outfitters will have a Polaris in their rental fleet this year. I'm looking forward to test driving it on my daddy/daughter trip to see if it's really the canoe I want.
