June 13, 2014 at Shepo camp. My son and I seek small (one tent) and less used sites. This one was on Shepo and proved the perfect spot to dry out after the monsoon-like rains that hit us on the 12th.

Hey, I stayed there last fall. Set my tent up in the same spot too.
I got to Sagus only to find it filled! I traveled all the way up Alice to there and only saw one group of people all day, and they were on the last site on Fraser before the Sagus portage.
When I'm solo I often use those kind of sites too since my needs are not great.

This looks like a really nice site, what lake is it on?"
It's the big island on Keefer lake in Quetico. The site is very nice. There is a 14-18 foot elevation to the right that protects from wind and gives a very nice view of the lake.

Is this you? We went by that campsite Sept 11th 2016.
"
That may be the site and they have a white tent in the same spot but I have a blue tarp and was there on Sept. 5th and 6th. I had the big five star site on the far northern island. A large high slab of granite sits out front and I don't see it in your pic. There is a narrows on that side of the island like in your pic. Good eye!
