This is a Kni-co Alaskan that has been burned 11 weeks in the past 3 years. It has a 1/8" tear that is not visible unless it's being burned in the tear. The tear is on the left as you're facing the door. It is perfectly serviceable for shorter trips - say a week or less. At the moment the tear has no impact on the performance - doesn't affect the dampers. Eventually it will, but you should get some good life out of it, even if you don't repair it. Because my New Year's Trips are 3+ weeks I bought a new one. The rust is superficial.
New cost is $165 - here's the link: https://www.kni-co.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=66
Shipping will raise the price to $50 total.
