It probably won't be advertised on the website. Pretty sure it's a show special. If you can't make it to the store or the show in the cities I recommend calling the shop to place an order.

I picked up this combo at the Duluth boat show. I had already picked this as my next rod, but I was waiting for a sale. They would have let me upgrade the reel to a supreme for $20, but I liked the patriarch I bought last year.

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but that Patriarch is a $150 reel by itself, so it's almost unfathomable they would be giving one of those away for free. I see on their website they have the Fenwick HMG/Pflueger Purist (an $80 reel) combo on sale for $119, so it makes more sense if they're actually giving away a reel for free they would just be taking the additional $19 hit from their website special.

Having said that, the Purist gets mixed reviews, but for free, who cares. That Fenwick HMG is one sweet rod for the price.

My mistake, it is indeed the Purist, not the Patriarch that comes with this deal. However I was able to pick up a display model Patriarch in perfect shape along with an HMG for $150.
