I've been searching a while for information on McKenzie Lake fishing. I'm assuming it is pretty good :) . I'm also assuming lakers and walleye, maybe some northern, but is it a good smallie lake too?

I've read that it is a GREAT laker lake. It looks like the northern end of the lake looks to be good smallie habitat, but without ever fishing it, I don't know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Given the fact that I found this doing a search on the site for "McKenzie Lake," and that no one has replied, I'm guessing the fishing is pretty good up that way. :)

Last year I asked The outfitter we use for bunkhouse and tow about McKenzie lake and he said it was very good northern fishing but, he wouldn't leave Kawnipi if it were him for fishing. We didn't go so I have no first hand intel for ya.
