I am looking to purchase a digital scale suitable to measure average catches.

What are you all using?

I use a hang style similar to a luggage scale from Cabela's. It's digital and if I remember right I bought it in a pack with some clippers and pliers for about 20 bucks total. Goes up to 50 pounds so it actually doubles really nicely as a luggage scale.

Works great. Measures to the 0.01lb, up to 110 lb.
I think it was as per butthead's suggestion.

I use a Rapala fish scale to weight my 6 pound Smallmouth Bass. It must be correct I'm thinking. :)

my last 2 digital scales were a rapala and a berkley(the rapala saw some very wet conditions needed a new 1) both were surprisingly accurate , both within 1oz of the certified bait store scale.
