Imislinski, that's a beautiful shot, but as for relaxation, it's going to hard to beat that pic from Kiporby.
That kid's got it down!
Oddball: Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Thanks for the compliment! I have to agree with you Kiporby's photo is the one to beat. That shot reminds me of a pose you'd see from an old man after a long hard day paddling and portaging. Isn't it priceless when kids seemingly imitate adults?

Sorry Kaitlyn, don't kill me but this is one of my favorite "Thank God I can rest now!" type of pictures!
Hmm, for some reason the resolution didn't come out to well here.
Hey Hey. I finally figured it out. Anyways here is a well earned relaxing nap after some hard portaging. This is on the island campsite on turtle lake. Great camsite!! 6 STARS.
Waiting at the end of our trip for a tow back to the end of the Gunflint. I don't think he could have gone another day, and neither could his rain gear.

Taken during an August 2007 trip to the Johnson Falls area. The picture is me soaking in the spray from the pool below the falls - we were able to "lounge" around the area for the entire day with the falls all to ourselves - a truly amazing day!
