Dumb SPOT is eating up time trying to get it set up.
Just don't have it together for my food yet... It's coming!
New tent isn't here yet so going to plan B... The Lean is just too big for this trip. The Lean 1 might have been a better choice for that.
Got my hand in some hydraulics the other day. I don't think I broke anything but the swelling is not going down. I am getting feeling back in my fingers though. Thought at the time I might have crushed something.
Some logistics with fellow paddler is sketchy and I like things a little more concrete.
Do I have to much... to little... enough?
Starting to get a little nervous for the 26 day adventure. The last 12 day part is actually going to be better as I feel more relaxed about it.

Ha ha ha! Got lots done today. No saws involved... That's the finger most affected by my latest little bump. Looking forward to being ready. Darn! Forgot the breakfast bars again. I have one more trip to the store planned before I go.
I'll try and see my doctor... But no promises. The trip must go on! To many people depending on me. :)
Got a BA Copper Spur today to use. Seems pretty simple. The one I ordered isn't here yet.
Spot is all set up I hope... We'll see how it works. Jan, I'm sharing a link with you. It will come up as Dennis's Spot. At least you'll know I'm alive. :) Everything almost ready... Just looks chaotic to me right now. It's getting better...
26 days is a lot of dog chow! Is Bernice packing her own? My Chessie will eat all the raw fish I can catch, head to tail, but I wouldn't want that to be a steady diet. Does she have her own food barrel? Just some random thoughts from a another dog lover. Have a great father/daughter trip, Ben!
Bernice is a picky eater. A few weeks ago Ben and I had dinner in Ely and brought leftover hamburger pieces and french fries out to the vehicles where her and my dog were waiting. Bernice ate the hamburger but wouldn't eat the french fries. My dog Freddie will eat anything except pickles and rhubarb.
Ben, Have a great trip. Sounds like the exact right amount of time to play in the woods. Are you going to link the spot website so we can follow along?

I'll have a drop on day 15 as the two guys fly out as another person comes in. Bernice carries her own food and has two packs... yes, we double portage.

I hope he don't mind... I put Jan in charge of that without him knowing. :)
Have a great time..sounds like the hand will be OK.. I know about packing...shoot I forgot the TP. I am off tomorrow for five days..there is always SOME thing else needs to be packed!

Sunny's not too picky--he loves to retrieve wounded sunfish from the surface after my grand kids hook them deep and I throw them back hoping they will survive. He then eats them in one or two bites, or if they're big, tears them apart like a bear, holding them down with a paw. He often refuses to eat anything from MacDonalds. There's a message in there someplace!!!
