A reduced number and thickness of seams offers improved abrasion- and snag-resistance, enhanced breathability and decreased weight. Reinforced shoulders, elbows and sleeves are highly abrasion resistant. Helmet-compatible hood offers full protection and fits without inhibiting peripheral vision; collar/hood design offers an excellent weather seal. Watertight front zipper features an internal stormflap and laminated quick-dry chin guard. No-lift gusseted underarms and articulated elbows allow freedom of movement. Pit zips provide ventilation control; watertight zippers eliminate need for bulky zipper flaps. Dropped back hem increases coverage.
