Love this product!

Much easier to use when traveling with children. Just scoop up water in a water bottle, 90 seconds with the light, and you're good to drink or cook or whatever!

It does require batteries and cannot be totally submerged, so consider that when packing. Also, every year I need to remind myself how it works - when to watch for which lights. But otherwise it's foolproof and my kids can operate it without a problem.

Must be a water bottle that LIGHT can get through, so if you usually use stainless, you'll need to bring at least one plastic or glass type bottle for use with the SteriPen. Also, it will not filter out GUCK from your water, so best use is only where water is not full of mud or silt. With that in mind, it's been great for me in the BWCA!

Easy to use. Like how it tells you when it is done with the smiley face.

This is a good option for on the go or for a solo. Not sure I'd use it for a big group.
