Primus EtaPack Lite Stove System

Primus EtaPack Lite Stove System

Product Description

Everything needed to whip up a fine meal in the mountains comes compactly stowed with the Primus EtaPack Lite stove system. Efficient design allows the stove, bowl and collapsible windscreen to stow within the 1.2-liter pot; you can even fit a Primus 110g fuel canister (sold separately) inside. Included plate fits on the bottom of the pot, protecting the integrated heat exchanger during travel; lid with built-in strainer sits neatly on top. Using the EtaPack Lite stove, collapsible 360deg wind shield and 1.2-liter pot with built-in heat exchanger, you'll enjoy a liter of boiling water in fewer than 3 min. Heat exchanger on pot creates better heat retention than standard stove-and-pot arrangements, thereby saving fuel and reducing boiling times. Removing the wind shield creates space for a frypan or a pot of any size, allowing you to boil or saute all your favorite meals. Small perforations in the lid act as an integrated strainer, taking the hassle out of draining water from noodles or vegetables. Titanium nonstick coating on the pot eases cleanups. Low center of gravity provides excellent stability for backcountry cooking. Piezo igniter sparks the stove to life with a push of a button, eliminating worries about wet matches or burning your hand. System includes stove, 1.2-liter pot, strainer lid, collapsible wind shield, pot grip, plate and bowl. Fuel sold separately.

All around this is a good product when used as intended. Gets a little tricky when trying to do anything but boil water. It does simmer but the burner is so concentrated that it creates a hot spot. Again this stove to me is not really designed for frying and sorts. It can be done with a little work. I plan on adding a Artic Fox roll up grill to get the skillet a little further away from the burner.
