Soto Micro Regulator Stove

Soto Micro Regulator Stove

Product Description

Tipping the scales at a mere 2.6 oz., the Soto Micro Regulator stove rivals the competition for top honors as the world's lightest single-burner stove with a built-in igniter! Micro regulator creates a consistent flame in cold temperatures and throughout the life of the fuel canister. Piezo igniter runs through the center post of the stove, protecting the igniter from impact and creating reliable lighting performance. Built-in piezo igniter sends out an electric spark that starts the flame once the gas is turned on; no matches required! Pot supports fold down underneath the burner head for an extremely slim profile when stowed. Fuel canister sold separately. Weight includes stove, not the canister.

I offered up this little beast as a suggestion to a fellow member who was looking for a stove recently.
I don't know where to begin... It's a great little stove that has a built in starter for flawless start ups and is a treat to cook with.
It weighs in under three ounces and can boil a pot of water in a jiffy. If straight boiling isn't your thing, no worry, this stove can simmer with the best of them.
I personally was looking for a stove as a first time buyer and wanted small and lite. In addition, one that wouldn't cost a small fortune. What I got was that and more. This little stove cranks out 11,000 btu's, That's nearly as much as a single burner on my Viking range at home!!
Now, I am not a winter camper...yet! but for those that do, this stove performs better than any other I compared it to for cold weather conditions.
Another big selling point was that it costs far less than most stoves in the same class. I know I paid less than $60.
