This is really cool, but like most camp gadgets it's not an idiot device, there's a learning curve. First of all, the upper coffee screen has to be clean, if not it builds up pressure and half your water steams out the relief valve. If you brew one pot, then want to do another soon after, be sure you clean it well. I use a Pocket Rocket with mine, and what I've found to work best is to bring it to a boil on a medium setting. Then, when it starts to produce, alternate between blasting the heat and cranking it down as low as it will go. Watch the output, when it's doing well leave it alone. It would probably work well with a Dragonfly, too. If your stove doesn't regulate well, my guess is that a higher setting would work best. As always, try it at home with your camp stove before you take it out in the woods. BTW "4 cups" is about one slightly oversized coffee mug, which is probably 4 cups of espresso if you're in Istanbul, but that's not where we live....;-)
