Loved the view this site had to offer! It's a West facing view so you get to watch the sunset every night. This was our first trip to the BWCA. This site sits on a point with the fire pit/grate right at the point. It's an open site so not much shade in the afternoon/evening. Always a nice breeze keeping most of the bugs away. The mosquitoes would come out around dusk. Plenty of downed limbs and pine shavings to start a fire and keep it going. One tent site near the fire and one up the hill. Latrine was nice and a short walk from camp. Several trees for hammocks. Large flat rocks leading down to the water to jump off and swim or lay out. Was visited by a chipmunk every meal and turtle every evening. Easy access and canoe launch. Tried fishing from the shore but didn't catch anything. My boys and I loved this site! Saw about 4 or 5 groups of canoes pass by during a holiday weekend.

Nice little campsite with plenty of good fishing nearby. This was a first time trip for 3 of our 5 people. We caught Walleye, Bass, Northern, and Crappie within ten minutes from camp. Had a relentless turtle near camp, skeeters were terrible the entire time, and water was very high. We saw one small group of campers that had to leave during the afternoon due to a broken leg/ankle.

Free solar charger awaits someone who will scan the rock point here. GOAL ZERO Guide 10 Plus Solar Recharging Kit with spare batteries! Please save it before winter turns it to hazardous waste. I picked too many of what I identify as Summer Bolete mushrooms for my stew. They abound, and I'm quite well.

Nice site. Fire grate right on point at water with good trees for rain fly. Gets a lot of wind exposure though. Tent sites by grate are small because of rocks. One tent pad up lat trail but it is packed with rocks and not recommended. Great site for hammock camping as there is a grouping of trees not far from the fire grate with a nice view. Nice areas to explore with trails around around the point. Nice area for storing canoes and nice landing. Bear hang trees right near fire grate are handy.

Good site, near a narrowing so decent amount of traffic. Red pine, soft floors
