Went from Beaverhouse, down to Jean, back up through Orianna and Hamburg to Nym. Our girls (17 and 20) loved the portages in and out of Hamburg, but if you're not up for dragging canoes through very low water and pulling canoes up over beaver dams, best to avoid! We saw very few people, had 7 days of sunshine and very little wind, with only one day at the end (always nice when it's at the end) of rain, thunder, lightning, etc... Ended up spending almost an hour at the Nym end of the Batch portage waiting for the lightning to pass. Really enjoyed Jean and our girls got the chance to shoot rapids for the first time on the little rapids from Jean to Conk. All in all a great family holiday!
