Doing some trip planning and wondering it there is a list anywhere of the lakes within the park that have outposts/lodges, and thus motorized traffic (we'd like to avoid those if possible, at least for overnights.)
I've been able to ID the following: Wabakimi Tew Barrington Smoothrock Caribou Grayson Windfall Funger Montcrief Shabuskwia Burntrock Granite Whiteclay Redhead
Am I missing any?

I heard the same thing when I did a three week trip up there, that fisherman were mostly gone in August, but we sure saw a lot of boats and planes landing. We saw boats and/or landing airplanes on Funger, Smoothrock (to be expected), Whitewater, Grayson, Wabakimi, and Kenoji. This was in late August. I guess it was bad timing. Of all the outpost cabins marked on the map, only two seemed vacant...the one on Arril and the one on Shawanabis.

The planning map put out by the park has outposts on it.
I know you're missing Whitewater, Kenoji, Arril, Brennan (I think; don't quote me on that) and also Shawanabis. Probably some others too.

Wilkie and Flindt each have a fishing lodge on them. Onamakawash and the other lakes along the tracks will have motor boats. If you go to Wab pretty much anytime after June 30 you are far less likely to see a motor boat.

Yep, the fishing outpost clientele seem to thin out in the second half of summer. Wabakimi Project maps also show outpost cabins ('camps') that we observe (for completeness but also for safety/ emergency use). In general, I would not let the presence of one of these put you off a route.
