If anyone is needing any merino wool baselayers, WoolX is having a sale right now for 1/2 off. My wife and I got the merino wool mid-weight bottoms for $50 normally $99. They are great, Fantastic fit and very comfortable. Plus they have 2 day shipping for free.

Another great place to shop for Merino wool base layers is Sierra Trading Post.com. Get on their email list (you will unfortunately get a few emails each week), but their prices are low, typically can find 25% or greater email deals on the already low prices. Base layers normally at $100 I have found for $30-40.

Well after using the WoolX Merino wool baselayer pants for 4 days of below 0 temps they worked great. I wore them while snowshoeing up by Tofte, MN this past week. My wife and I each wore them and loved how comfortable they were and how well they kept us warm. Plus they seem to launder well too. I just line dry them.

Just curious, any reason why you line dry them, just tradition because its a wool product? I noticed on the tag and on their website you can dry them on low. Mine are in the dryer right now...

I just always line dry all of my synthetic clothing and wool clothes and socks as they get less beat up from tumbling around in the dryer and less chance of shrinkage.

Well I bought a pair. And assuming they come in time, I will report back after this weekend BWCA camping trip.

Glad to help you out. I like the waist band as it is wider then most others.
