We've used them with our scout troop over the years.....we'd usually make traditional quinzees as well as igloos using the boxes...the hardest part was the very top.....overall worked pretty well!

Last weekend while the kids were playing outside they wanted to make a snow cave and my mind drifted to an igloo and an igloo making tool I saw a few years ago. I've never camped outside in the winter but what better place to give it a try than in your own back yard. Has anyone ever seen, used, or heard anything about this method of building an igloo?
