Addendum: scoop some of the good beef bouillon that comes soft in jars into a baggie for the soup. Mmmmm. |

Breakfast - I make pre-made breakfast burritos that I simply warm up over the fire grate or on a frying pan. (Eggs, Sausage, peppers, onions, and cheese). Lunch - usually snack type stuff. Trail mix/beef jerky (Krave brand), nuts, dried fruit. Depending - I might pack a few pre-made sandwiches. Dinner - Premade soup/ or / chili. Rolls, the pretzel rolls are super good. |

quote SevenofNine: "I thought I would add one more item that a friend made on a trip. A premodern breakfast biscuit. Think McDonalds sausage McMuffin with egg and cheese. He boiled it in a bag. Worked good." I have done this too, and I like it! |

For dins, BiB stew or spaghetti are standard, but love to toss other things in there. I like 7of9's idea of Korean Fried Rice. I also like to remake a calzone - the crust on the stove gets wonderfully crunchy. I've also made Northern Pike Phad Thai, and Moroccan Walleye Tajine. |
