I plan to scout out Sherman Park after work, tomorrow. Will definitely camp and paddle. Looking forward to hearing some good stories and what your favorite Iowa Rivers are.

I stopped by Sherman Park at 7 PM. All the standing water has dried up at the primitive site and I didn't see any mosquitoes, yet. A co-worker, who lives upriver in Toronto, said they have gotten bad at her home this week.
There was one tent set up. The two young ladies, wearing bikinis, did not appear to be bothered by any insects. Their friend said he hadn't noticed any, but this was their first night camping.

Lots of conflict for me, but I will make it happen if we get a group. Anyone committed to being there please respond, otherwise it may need to not happen this year. Unhappy face.
