All together - The Transend Mini, along with the one multi- day battery and solar charger pack weigh about 3.5 pounds. Not light but much better than other options. I saved up for it - I am tired of the other poor options and need to be able to travel more and efficiently!

I am hoping to head to South Africa this fall and this will be a great option for the flight and safari.
And, you are right - it is not a good "every night " machine but traveling, I hope it will be the answer!

I believe dblwhiskey and HolyCowCanoe on here have them. Hopefully, they will reply with their experience.

I looked at the Transcend unit but was told from several sources it was not a good daily unit. I didn't have the cash for two at the time so I use a Respironics. I'm very happy with it. However, as I get older I'm always looking for ways to reduce my backpack weight/size so I am interested in anyone's experience with a Transcend or similar. Please let us know your experience if you get one.

After much research and help from some of the guys here, I found a system that is built to will work without electricity. Trensend Mini, with multi night battaries, and solar pack.
Do you have one and how does it work for you?
