Back when I joined this board a few years ago two things happened.
After wanting one for 28 years I finally bought a used Wenonah Kevlar canoe and the new round of Star Wars movies were coming out.
So I chose a screen name of Obiwenonahkenobi. It seemed clever at the time. But it doesn't really fit in the allotted space for the screen name on posts. And even worse, it was a huge pain in the hind quarters to have to type out every time I logged in.
So I requested a name change and Adam graciously made it happen. Now my screen name is much shorter. It reflects my age and changing hair color. It hints at my Native American heritage even though I'm basically a pasty old white guy. LOL And it's a lot shorter and easier to type. I am now GreyOwl.

Good call, Obiwen......... Grey Owl is also a fine brand of Canadian canoe paddles.

I mostly view the site via Safari in private mode on my iPad. Set that way so the cache & cookies are cleared each time I close the browser. It's set that way for security reasons for work. Plus, on my desktop computer, if I stay logged in, it does not show me which forums and threads have new posts since the last time I read. When I re-login, that info shows up for me.

Grey Owl is a good moniker. I like it, but I thought your old name was pretty clever. :)
Btw, you shouldn't have to type your name each time and re-login (unless you want to or your computer won't let you stay logged in).

You have a talent for picking good screen names. I think Obiwenonahkenobi was my favorite on the board, it always made me smile. But, I have to admit I had to copy and paste it into this post instead of typing it out.
