Awesome Lady! My son and I have visited with her the last 4 years. Always enjoyable and always pleasant.

Great interview! Where and what does Janice do the other 8 months of the year? Perhaps since she is working 24/7 for those 4 months it is considered a full time job. I really enjoyed this and could have listened to more. Never have been to the Q, always stayed on the US side. Hope to make it to the Q someday.

Interesting interview!
For me, Ranger Janice settled how Lake Saganaga should properly be pronounced.

Glad to see you're back. We need to share stories. Boy do I have some doozies.

I wish people like Janice would of kept a log and than publish her encounters and experiences. It would be a good read.

Thanks Janice for your service. Too many people take service like yours for granted.

Cache Bay Ranger Janice reflects on 33 years on "the island" in Cache Bay.

i would have posted this in the Quetico forum but not sure how many people read the forum. She is a wonderful person outside of her work as a Ranger.

I was just there last week. I've known Janice since I first met her in 1997. She's had quite a life on that island.

Terry, nice pic with the longest serving ranger in Quetico Park.

I think you may have been the person that told me that Janice has a real sweet tooth for high quality chocolate. So every time I have go into Quetico via Cache Bay ... I bring her some "Godiva Belgian Chocolate". My chocolate offering really puts a smile on her face.

Enjoyed listening to her reflecting on her life at the Cache Bay Ranger Station.
