Thought I would check in and see if any piggy back plans have been firmed up. I received an email from Dennis today that my canoe is ready to be picked up. So at some point in near future I will be planning a college visit for my son and a canoe pick up. If there's still a need to get a canoe from MSP to Chicago, let me know.

I have business at NW Canoe while I'm in town, so as long as Dennis is going to be open on the 24th I plan on stopping in.
Last I emailed with him he indicated he'd be in & out for the next couple weeks and back for a longer stretch starting the 24th. When he's not there are they closed? Never been to NW Canoe, only bought online from them.

I'll be going from the Chicago area to southern Illinois the second week of November. Could bring your canoe and meet you somewhere down there.

Sure thing. I'm looking at being up overnight 10/23-24 before heading home. I just need to know far enough in advance to toss the blocks and straps into the rental car.

I have a canoe getting some TLC at Northwest canoe. When complete, like Mirth, I could get it to Chicago.

Thanks, I'm headed to our Ozark Rendezvous tomorrow, then our family Hay Ride, so will be out of touch for a week. Next Monday I will see if I can figure out the best pick up option. THANKS!

I kept the '71 for my sister but plexmidwest will soon have the '70 for his collection!
