nooneuno	02/02/2018 04:10PM   On Thursday morning the river looked great I figured for sure that I could sneak a little paddling in this weekend: By Friday morning, just 24hrs later my plans were abandoned. Goes to show you a river in the winter deserves a special level of respect:

I admit that there have been some times here where I've put in on a nearby class I stream just after a snowstorm and it's a great paddle - so quiet and many tracks in the snow. I do need to get some better gear for doing that just in case something goes awry water wise.
