Congrats on number 2 and on planning for their early brainwashing (ahem, I mean introduction to loving nature!).
Life happens. I'm always glad this site and the BWCA are still there when we can surface again.

Thanks Nctry. Possibly if I lived closer but that is a busy time of year with family here in Duluth for me. I will just have to make sure I don't miss wing night next year.

It's been a few years since I've been on this site. Life got busy with children. In fact the last time I was here I think I was just having my first and preparing for a trip with a 6 month old (Thanks Tuscaror.. if he is even here anymore) . And here I am again looking forward to my 2nd child's first trip... who will also be just turning 6 months old when the trip starts.
I liked the FB page recently and saw a Wing Night in Duluth but... I think I missed that. Was looking forward to it actually.
I had been bringing my niece and nephew every year in hopes of converting them to frequent goers but I was only able to snag the nephew.
Anyway, yeah I can't wait for the season to start. 3 trips planned and maybe a 4th pending others.

Hey, welcome back! Iive a bit west of you towards Grand rapids. But if you want to get away like say July 6, 7, & 8th... We do a wing night campout at my place...Come for just Saturday... We all toss some food together and have a sort of pot luck with fire works in the evening.
