Trip was in early September (2018), not much color yet on Basswood lake. Love this picture, though, of the early morning fog lifting of Pipestone Bay. Tree in the center of the island is just starting to show fall colors.

This was one of my most fondest trip. It was the first year we took our daughter to the BWCA. (One of four that would even consider going, LOL) We had AWESOME fall colors, saw moose (two separate times), many beavers, swans, turtles, many other animals, froze on some days and warm on others!!! She is now hooked, she has been 5 times now! It was an awesome trip.
