Has me thinking about what the rest of the season is going to be like for the handful of major offenders we deal with in the Arboreal. Does this early warm-up indicate anything going forward? Will some species show an early wind-down? Or if we get wet and warm later in the year, is it all reset like nothing happened earlier? My college advisor (~1B yrs ago, +/-) was the department Entomologist - I bet she'd know however I suspect she's not only retired, but is likely no longer a target of any biting insect, alas... PS my dog Cerberus loves eating the Flying Raisins! |
