I would like to add this photo to this month's contest. I call it Mornings Fog. This is somewhere aways past lower basswood falls. We are standing on the U.S. side looking into Canada on table rock camp site. Thanks,
Mark

We just got back and loved every minute in the Boundary Waters. Here's one of my favorites of a 16-year-old with us viewing the Iron Lake sunset.

Oh yeah mooseplums, the more I look in to it, the more I think it's Budside Lake. I know it says Burntside on our maps, but I think it's Budside.

The flowers where so beautiful on our trip in early June. It is so hard to portage when your taking your camera out every few steps. :)

What a great shot Nkelly. Amazing color diversity. Did you alter the photo with any program or were the photography gods just smiling on you that day?

Wow! I pity the poor souls who have to pick a single winner from this month's entries.

Had to pull over early due to a migraine this day, but what a tropical looking spot to relax at. Basswood Lake.

bdawson - It was just that time of evening when the colors come out and I had a 3 stop graduated neutral density filter on to balance the skies exposure with the water and land. By far the best filter to take into the Boundary Waters for those evening/morning sky shots.

This photo was taken on Ottertrack Lake, Wednesday, June 28, late afternoon. My 13 year old son, Jeff, is paddling a solo wood strip canoe. The cliffs are in Canada. I took this from our campsite.

Saw these on Heritage Lake on a great trip in June this year. Also had a moose walk past the tent earlier in the same morning.
